The Story Behind Sandwick Bay Candles
Sandwick Bay Candles was founded in 2016 by Megan Macdonald, who began making candles at her kitchen table. What started as a creative outlet soon turned into a thriving business, fueled by her love for sustainability and quality. Today, every candle is still made by hand in her Stornoway workshop, reflecting the spirit of the Outer Hebrides.
Megan’s fragrances are inspired by the rugged landscape around her, from the fresh coastal air to the fruity and floral notes of the island’s natural beauty. Her dedication to sustainability extends beyond the candles themselves, with cruelty-free, vegan, and phthalate-free ingredients used across the range.
